Ad Hoc Airport Regional Policy Committee to Hold Meeting September 18
WHAT: The Ad Hoc Airport Regional Policy Committee, chaired by City of San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders, will hold its eighth meeting as the group continues to guide the vision planning for Lindbergh Field. The process, called “Destination Lindbergh,” is led by the Ad Hoc Committee with the goal of solving the region’s air and ground transportation challenges. Agenda items for the September 18 meeting include:
1. Airfield and passenger terminal operations
2. North side off-site property opportunities
3. Revised Destination Lindbergh development alternatives
4. Conclusions and next steps
Airport Land Use Commission makes safety & economic impact priorities for Airport Land Use Compatibility Plans
SAN DIEGO — September 9, 2008 — The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority’s Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) on September 4, 2008, moved a step closer to completing Airport Land Use Compatibility Plans (ALUCPs) for the five urban airports in San Diego County: Brown Field, Gillespie Field, McClellan-Palomar Airport, Montgomery Field and Oceanside Municipal Airport.
