Federal Aviation Administration dismisses seven of eight claims by Jimsair against Airport Authority

SAN DIEGO ā€“ April 16, 2007 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued
a “Director’s Determination” on April 12 rejecting seven of the eight claims made by Jimsair
Aviation Services against the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. Jimsair, the only
“fixed base” operator at San Diego International Airport, filed a complaint with the FAA almost
a year ago alleging that the Authority was violating a number of federal requirements imposed
on the Authority as a condition for receiving federal grants for airport improvement projects. (Read More)
